Antique Road Trip 2: Homecoming is the sequel to Antique Road Trip USA. I haven't played the first one, and to be honest, I don't think I intend to. The basic plot is that you're visiting Grace's parents for a little vacation away from the Antique Shop you own, and you end up refurnishing a series of antique shops across the country with the help of a cute dog as your hint button.
Gameplay is a little atypical of a Hidden Object game, you collect items from a list and get a cash reward depending on how/when you found it. Beyond that, the usual. It was REALLY hard to get into. I couldn't keep my focus for more than a couple minutes before I said 'okay, no, I have to quit.' So, really not the best buy.
Graphics are alright, and soundtrack are wonderful, but there is something about the plot that just makes it eternally boring. Not something I'd buy, even on sale.

Now onto better things! I had this game bought from a while ago, but I didn't get a chance or the inspiration to try it until today.
Empress of the Deep: The Darkest Secret is a PHENOMENAL Hidden Object/Puzzle game. You wake up in a mausoleum, and the only thing you know about yourself is that your name is Anna. Explore through the underwater world to learn the secret of your destiny.
Gameplay is AMAZING, an i found it impossible to put the game down. The soundtrack is awesome, it's not a lot of music but there's a good amount of environment noise which makes the game more immersive. Graphics are stunning. Just buy it, it's amazing.
