Catch of the Week! Cradle of Persia, Serpent of Isis and a sale!

Hello hello!

Today's got some goodies for you, so check 'em out! :D

Cradle of Persia's a Match-3 game with a similar gameplay style to (4 Elements).  You click one piece and drag to complete chains of 3 or more and get the play field clear.  There's really no difinitive plot, you just advance through the levels building up the various environments and create a Persian empire.

Gameplay is alright, took a bit to completely understand that it wasn't a swap game but rather a chain-matcher.  Graphics are cute, but lack a bit of detail or effort, especially in the gameplay parts.  The soundtrack is really nice though, I found myself enjoying it.  There was something about the game that kept me engaged, but I would definitely suggest this for a light casual player, and only recommend buying it at a sale price if anything.

This week's Catch of the Week now isssss.....

Serpent of Isis: Your Journey Continues.  It's a hidden-object game where you follow Robert and try to rescue Professor Penroy, on your jourey to discovering the secret of the tomb of Isis in Egypt.  You must gather clues and solve puzzles as you make your way to saving the professor and protecting the ancient historical....stuff!

This game REALLY caught my attention once I started playing it.  Its cutscenes play out almost like animated films, with fluid movement and animation that you don't normally see in casual games.  Characters and dialogue are still static, but the art and graphics are very lovely.  The soundtrack is lovely as well, like a mystery film, which is highly appropriate :D  Definitely something to get if you're big on puzzles and hidden object goodness, and a moderate to intense casual play level.
